The FO Repeater is used for the conversion of the
CAN-signal from copper wire (ISO/IS 11898-2) to fiber optic cables.
Complete isolation and protection against EM-influences can thus be
achieved. In addition, special topologies, star or tree, can be created
with the Repeater.
One special feature of the Repeater is that it
can separate a defective segment from the rest of the network, so that the
remaining network can continue working. After elimination of the defect,
the segment is switched into the network again.
The Repeater is
available for plastic (POF) or for glass fibre (please indicate which you
require when ordering).
